How we work

Novacom Group delivers different software solutions to its customers on the basis of offshore software development.

The Development Center is located in Minsk, Belarus (Eastern Europe). It is a medium-sized modern office with advanced technical infrastructure, perfectly equipped for work of IT specialists.

Range of software solutions we provide is wide, beginning from Web Applications development and up to an EDMS of a large-scale enterprise. The core of our team is ten highly skilled IT specialists. This core may be easily enlarged to 20-30 software engineers. Additional personnel are working on a contract basis – an easy way of conducting business and a usual working practice of software companies.

Putting things simple, lifecycle of our work may be described as follows:

Stage of communication with an interested customer. The client’s manager tells us about business needs or problems of the company, as well as about ideas of how to cope with these problems. Usually this communication proceeds in form of a discussion. Here we do consider business goals and corporate culture of the enterprise. We provide information about different types of solutions that already exist on the market, and give consultations. Finally we come to a decision and work out specification document.
Stage of development. This stage is dedicated to software design and development. We do programming, while our client watches our work via Internet, tracks fulfillment of project’s tasks, receives milestone reports, comes to us for a business visit or is occupied with a prototype’s testing. Communication during this period is vital. It never breaks, and both sides stay open with their expectations and development progress. Quality Assurance is also conducted at this stage.
Stage of deployment. The final product is passed to the client. Every line of code belongs to our customers – we never assert rights for the products we develop and deliver. The product may be installed on the client’s side by his own specialists, or by our staff.
Stage of maintenance. We do value our customers. System Maintenance Service is an important part of every contract. Often employees need time in order to master a new software product, and they really want to see more than just a User’s Guide. We provide support and technical assistance for at least half a year after the products is delivered. System Maintenance Service may last longer, depending on the needs of our customer.
